Flat plastic types of signs we offer

Corrugated - PVC - Gatorfoam - Acrylic Signs

So many people ask for plastic signs it's unbelieveable. This is the most popular type of sign we make and for obvious reasons. They are durable, affordable and easy to travel around with for sales people and real estate agents.

There are so many uses for plastic signs and so many different materials that we have found it best to stick with just four of the most popular types of plastic signs.

Corrugated plastic -

Corrugated plastic, also known as coroplast, is a very strong fluted plastic that used primarily for promotions in indoor or outdoor events. They are rigid, light weight and weather proof. They can be screen printed, direct printed, or vinyl lettered. We can print and mount low run production counts and laminate to protect the corrugated signs that are needing to last long term (1 year or so). Often we will produce by a process called direct print, which is cost effective, water proof and durable out in the sun. These signs can be mounted into the ground using frames or wire stakes.

PVC signs are smooth finished. These are very popular for indoor displays, menu boards, pop signs and wall graphics. PVC comes in many different shapes and colors and can be printed in full color direct to the material. This material is also great to use for routering custom shapes, logos and lettering for displaying on interior walls! We love pvc and it is one of our biggest sellers.

Gatorfoam -

What is gatorfoam? Think of it as foamcore, just more durable. In the print world many people ask for foamcore, and we use it daily for many promotional type signs that we make for our clients. However, in many cases our clients need a more durable solution - enter gatorfoam. This material can be routered into custom shapes such as logos, lettering and full color custom shaped graphics. We can also combine full color graphics with custom shaped signs. This is popular for gallery prints, lobbys, doctors offices, dentist offices, etc. Due to how rigid it is, it's also a great material to use for ceiling signs that hang free from the ceiling. It's lightweight but very strong.

Acrylic Signs -

Acrylic sign materiall is in a league of it's own and has so many product types and thicknesses it's hard to sum it up in a paragraph. Basically all you need to know is that it's available in clear, white, frost, basic colors and black. It's also available in thickness such as 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, 1 in and yes even thicker.

Lexan - Polycarbonate

Storefront signs are made from polycarbonate if not from acrylic. Lexan is the brand name for polycarbonate and we use lexan as well as generic brands of polycarb here. Most often it's used for backlit displays and cabinet signage, but it can also be used for mounting to walls directly. Full color graphics can be installed onto this matieral as well as simple cut vinyl lettering.
