Lake Oswego is a city, in the United States of America, located south of Portland, Oregon surrounding the 405 acre Oswego Lake. Lake Oswego is primarily in Clackamas County, but portions of Lake Oswego are also located in Multnomah and Washington counties. Founded in 1847 and incorporated in 1910, Lake Oswego was the hub of Oregon's iron industry, in the late 19th century. Today, Lake Oswego is an affluent suburb of the Portland area, and, according to 2010 census, had a population of 36,619.
